I'm feeling a bit less down today, so a few ramblings... Let me start off by saying, I really did enjoy yesterdays show. My blah-ness was entirely related to something else. I like seeing Kyle so caring but I feel like Nick is going to milk that for all it's worth. Loved the phone conversation between the boys because it made it clear that both wished their night could've continued.

Now, on to today's show. Yay for surprise Fish! I love that we are actually getting to see Fish investigate a bit and take statements from Gigi and Schuyler. I'm glad Fish is on the case, because he has a genuine need to make sure these guys go away for a long time. BTW: Is anyone else finding it a little difficult to watch Joe from Blue's Clues be a gay basher? Seriously, he should be finding a paw print and sitting in his thinking chair to think think think, not beating the crap out of poor Nick.

Oh, one other thing, the local news broke in to the second Fish scene. So it's cut short, but I will post the full scene in the morning after I get the Soapnet rerun taped. All the other scenes are here though.

I'm so freaking proud of OLTL today. Yes, Kish got interrupted, but goodness the scenes leading up to that were AMAZING! Seriously, everything, the nervousness, the kissing, the "you're beautiful", the undressing, the fact that they were actually horizontal on a bed together... just YES! Hottest thing I've seen in a while, especially on network TV. Honestly, I'm a little shocked that they showed both boys laying on a bed together kissing. Don't get me wrong I know that OLTL has been doing an incredible job with the story so far, but still I was surprised and of course elated! Wonderful scenes today, I definitely think there should be many new icons. Oh, and how much do you love Roxy for leaving condoms for Kyle and "Trout"? Too funny!

Now, on to the rest of the show... OMG, poor Nick! He looked awful. Thank goodness he's going to be alright. Also, how amazing was Scott today? That scene with the attacker and the one following with John... just incredible. I'm really glad they caught those jerks. And way for Fish being super observant and remember the three assholes! That aside, I also loved Cristian and Layla today. Those two are so great together. Loved their scenes and glad they got some alone time. I really need to watch the scenes again because I'm sure I missed some things in my excitement to babble about today's awesomeness. Okay, so I know today's show was well-written and acted because I can't seem to shake the disgust I felt at watching Nick getting beaten. I am going to try and compartmentalize a bit in these ramblings or else I'd never get anywhere. So, I have to start with Nick... Nick R. was amazing today. My heart was breaking and it was literally painful to watch the scenes (which I know was the intent) and when they threw trash on him... I teared up and I really hate when soaps make me cry. Good job OLTL, those scenes definitely had the intended impact.

Now, I want to talk about the good stuff, because there was a lot of sweetness between Kish today. Kyle's message to Oliver was so cute and I loved the little kiss in an extremely public venue. One thing I really loved about today's show was that yet again we got another tiny glimpse in to what Oliver and Kyle were like in college. So now we know they spent a lot of time drinking beer down by the lake. Oh, the fanfic possibilities. The ILY's made me all warm and fuzzy and I loved that Oliver put his arm around Kyle during the montage. I left in the entire AAR song because it seemed a shame to edit it down. And I know I'm not supposed to like Kim and Stacey, but Kim is a Kish fan so I'm being swayed a bit. Oh, and Mitch is still creepy. *shudder*

So today was a Fish and Nick day. I absolutely love when Oliver gets all ranty about his beliefs. Loved him today and his whole speech about how he wants to marry his boyfriend one day (ya know, if they ever have a date first, lol) and how sometimes laws need to be broken. Good stuff! I'm so glad Dorian didn't let him give up his badge though. He's such a good cop. And can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that Langston and Starr are total Kish fangirls? Things are looking a bit ominous for Nick and Amelia there at the end with that group of homophobic jerks surrounding them. I think tomorrow's show is going to be really interesting. And yay for the All American Rejects!

I freakin' loved today's show. First off, have to give huge credit to OLTL for all of the dialog between the guys and Layla today. Fish's nervousness was so genuine and Layla was such a good friend to him. I'm glad Show didn't try to sugar coat the sex talk. Way to be upfront! Loved that Kyle and Nick finally got to hash out the wedding situation a bit. Nick got to say how hurt he was and Kyle got to bring up the fact that it was supposed to be a symbolic marriage. The whole conversation with Nick fishing for info on Kyle's new relationship felt really authentic and Kyle trying to tip toe through the discussion and inadvertently giving away to much information... it was all just so well written and acted. I also love how very soapy it was the Nick just happened to mention that he knew Kish weren't having sex yet once Oliver arrived. I completely get why Fish was irritated, but hopefully knowing that Kyle is nervous too will help ease some of that for him. Oh, and the kiss on the cheek was sweet too. On an un-Kish-related note, how positively fabulous and creepy was Mitch popping out of the coffin?

Oh the bittersweet awesomeness! LOVED today's show...

1. First I need a moment to be shallow and say how amazing Van/Luke looked today.
2. Secondly, Jake is doing such an amazing job. Seriously, Noah's anger and lashing out... just absolutely spot on.
3. Noah's comments about how he wanted to see if Luke was smiling... *dies* He may be angry and hurt but he loves Luke so much.
4. On the flip side, Luke is showing how much he really loves Noah by realizing that he isn't what Noah needs right now.
5. I love that Lily texted Luke and that Noah heard it. :)
6. Hooray for outside scenes!
7. Mutual ILYs of bittersweetness. *sniffle*
8. Luke telling Noah he'd be there when he got back... just... yes.
9. Amazingly sweet kiss. Seriously, I could watch that kiss repeatedly and every time I would still feel all melty.

So I awoke from my Turkey coma to see this. Jake IS. SO. AWESOME!

I really loved today's Nuke scenes... and holy crap both boys were in bed... together... *dies of shock*

1. I loved that Luke told Noah how it was. You can hate me if you want, but I'm still going to be here. Good for Luke. And whether he realizes it or not, Noah needed to hear it.
2. I totally got where Noah was coming from... not wanting to go to dinner, but I'm so glad Luke convinced him to eat.
3. I don't know how Van was able to show so much longing in those little touches when Luke was helping Noah eat, but you could feel it.
4. Loved Luke's whole speech about being thankful for Noah. I'm also glad he finally got to express how scared he was of losing him.
5. How sweet was it that Luke was waiting outside the door for Noah to finish dinner?
6. I absolutely love that Noah reached for Luke in that last scene. It was just the littlest thing, but I just loved it.
7. It was so nice to see the boys smiling together.
